Parson Temple is one prominent Hindu Temple near the city of Faridabad, Haryana. This temple is also known as Maha Rishi Prashar Tapo Bhumi. It is located near Badkhal Lake in Faridabad. It is located at a distance of 8 Kms from Faridabad city. Parson Temple is a sacred ancient temple of Maharishi Parashar. Located beautifully amongst the Aravalli hills Parson Temple has a very scenic view. The temple has a pond named as Braham Kund. The pond has separate places to have bath for men and women. Two kilometre behind Badkhal lake lies the tapobhumi where Maharshi Parashar supposedly partook in a tapasya. This temple is famous for many yogis who spent their life in the caves of Parson. Parson Temple is quite peaceful and is filled with greenary. Best time to visit this temple is during weekends. There is no entry fee. Visitors can visit the temple during timings: 6:00 AM – 8:30 PM on all days of the week.
